【Story of Sadako.】
Today I will tell you about Sadako.
I studied about her in my textbook.

Do you know Sadako's friend Chizuko?
I didn't know her before I read the book.
I think she was a very kind girl.
Because she gave her a crane and kind words.
She said to Sadako "If you thousand paper cranes, your wish(to get well) come true."
Her wish that Sadako would get well.
But do you know why thousand paper cranes can make get well?
Because cranes are supposed to live for a thousand years.
So Sadako tried to fold them.
However she died soon.

Now her story s known all over the world.
And the crane is remembered in our hearts amonument of peace.
